In October 2019, we founded Simuarts with 100% independent funding, based on the above philosophy. Building on our core expertise in process modeling and simulation rooted in chemical engineering, we also incorporate the latest technologies such as data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver higher-value solutions to our clients.
To ensure the delivery of high-quality services, we believe it is essential to provide an environment that maximizes employee productivity. Accordingly, we have adopted a remote work–based system that promotes a healthy work-life balance.
Although Simuarts is still in its sixth year since its establishment, we have already completed over 100 consulting projects and earned the trust of many clients. Recent years have seen a significant increase in projects related to the development of new processes aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions (especially CO₂), an area of growing importance in pursuit of sustainability. Many companies and research institutions in the process industry are dedicating efforts to this domain.
Accelerating the development of innovative process technologies requires quantitative evaluation of process performance from multiple perspectives during the conceptual design phase. In addition to performance indicators such as yield, energy consumption, and CO₂ emissions based on mass and energy balance models, it is also crucial to simultaneously assess economic indicators—such as required capital investment and payback period.
At Simuarts, we not only provide performance evaluations based on first-principles physical chemistry through advanced process simulation, but also calculate OPEX and CAPEX, conduct feasibility studies considering project assumptions (e.g., project start year, location, interest rates), and offer TEA/LCA (Techno-Economic Analysis / Life Cycle Assessment) tools. A key strength of ours is the ability to integrate technical and economic perspectives seamlessly.
